PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical detector for improving the reliability of transfer from light shielding detection to light shielding non-detection by transmitting non-light shielding information in the case that the non-light shielding of an object detected after the light shielding of the object penetrates a prescribed time. SOLUTION: The optical detector is provided with detection means (13, 14) for detecting the existence of the light shielding of the object, a means (KC) for continuously counting light shielding non-detection after the transfer from the light shielding detection to the light shielding non-detection of the object is performed, and means (13, 14, ZS) for outputting non-light shielding information in the case that the prescribed number of times of the light shielding non-detection is counted. After the transfer from the light shielding detection to the light shielding non-detection of the object is performed, the light shielding non-detection is continuously counted, and in the case that the counted value is counted in the prescribed number of the times, erroneous touch-off information is prevented from mischievously outputting by outputting the non-light shielding information. |
