PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that uses its backlight in common use for a strobe light source. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device with digital camera comprises the integration of a liquid crystal module 22, a digital camera 24 built in the liquid crystal module 22, and a strobe light source 23. The digital camera 24 is placed in the inside of a panel of the liquid crystal module 22 or inside of the backlight 23, and the liquid crystal module 22 has a photographing function. The strobe light source 23 is structured in common with a backlight module 21 of the liquid crystal module 22 and the backlight itself acts like the strobe light source. The display device can be used for a mobile phone 25.
