PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, when a reception input level is large, of the leakage of an LO signal from a receiving route becoming large, when a bypass route is installed in an LNA for preventing saturation of a reception circuit. SOLUTION: The radio communication device is provided with a transmission system which transmits a signal to an antenna 101; a reception system comprising a high-frequency reception system, which receives the signal from the antenna 101 for processing the signal, and a low-frequency reception system which converts the signal into a low-frequency band for processing the signal; an antenna switch 103, which changes over the connection of the antenna to the transmission system or the high-frequency reception system; and a reception- level detection circuit 113, which detects a signal level in the low-frequency reception system. When it is determined by the circuit 113 that the reception input level is larger than the preset value, input from the antenna 101 is attenuated.
