PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact flowmeter using a Venturi tube. SOLUTION: The flowmeter is provided with the Venturi tube 1 constituted of a gradually reduced part 11, a gradually expanded part 12 and a throat part 13 and measures a flow rate of a fluid on the basis of a differential pressure between the fluid in the throat part 13 and the fluid of a straight tube 2 of the inflow side connected to the Venturi tube 1. The gradually reduced part 11 and the gradually expanded part 12 are formed to curve. As a result, the length in a longitudinal direction of the Venturi tube 1 is shortened, and at the same time, end parts of the gradually reduced part 11 and the gradually expanded part 12 are directed into different directions from the longitudinal direction. Straight tubes 2 and 3 connected to the gradually reduced part 11 and the gradually expanded part 12 are made to extend in different directions from the longitudinal direction of the Venturi tube 1. The flowmeter can thus be made compact.
