PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating apparatus wherein it is advantageous in view of resource saving and energy saving by improving a production method for an arm constituting a door of a vertically opened high frequency heating apparatus, and it is advantageous in view of the cost by reducing excessive control work. SOLUTION: An opening angle of a vertically opened door 9 is restricted, and an arm 8 for transmitting closing force of a spring 11 to the door 9 is constructed with a bar or a tubing. Hereby, discharge of any waste material is reduced, and the construction is advantageous in view of resource saving and energy saving. Further, production of burrs during manufacturing is limited to both opposite end surfaces without causing the possibility of a user touching it. Thus, a high frequency heating apparatus is provided without requiring excessive labor and advantageously in view of the cost.
