PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of information related with a fee to be charged without actually charging the user, and to allow the user to select the following processing. SOLUTION: When instruction for output for such as printing is given from an application, a charging application informs a user of a fee based on information announced from an output driver such as a printer driver. When the user is not satisfied with the announced fee, the user is able to cancel the output, or change the setting of the output. |
