摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high performance electron emission characteristics by making uniform the gap between the cathode wiring having an electron source and the control electrode and by suppressing deformation of the control electrode. SOLUTION: A recess part 4b is formed between the adjoining parts of the first region that forms opening holes 4a for electron stream passage of the control electrode 4 and the fluctuations of gap between the opening holes 4a and the cathode wiring are regulated by preventing distortion caused by the tension impressed on the control electrode 4.
