PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording medium processor which can be freely installed in either a horizontal attitude, a perpendicular attitude, or an inclined attitude. SOLUTION: A first CD holding and carrying member 21 is provided with first to fourth chucking pins 31, 32, 33, and 34 so that they can be rotated. These first to fourth chucking pins 31, 32, 33, and 34 hold the outer peripheral edge of a CD to chuck the CD on the first CD holding and carrying member 21. Chucking and unchucking of the CD by the first to fourth chucking pins 31, 32, 33, and 34 are controlled by a first arcuate chucking control member 51 which is rotatably provided on the first CD holding and carrying member 21. Since the CD is chucked on the first CD holding and carrying member 21, the disk recording medium processor can be freely installed in either a horizontal attitude, a perpendicular attitude, or an inclined attitude.
