<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating lamp lighting control system and an illuminating lamp lighting control method capable of reducing power consumption in a street lamp to effectuate energy saving or the like by lighting the street lamp only when a lighting condition is established while keeping an anticrime effect in the night or the like. SOLUTION: In this system and in this method, a street lamp lighting control device 1 is installed in the street lamp. The street lamp lighting control device is provided with a receiving antenna 11 and a receiver 12 for receiving radio waves transmitted from a portable information terminal apparatus 4 when a person carrying the terminal apparatus 4 capable of transmitting the radio waves passes the vicinity of the street lamp and transmits the radio waves from the terminal apparatus 4, and a transmission source distance calculation device 13 for calculating the distance from the terminal apparatus 4 based on the received radio waves and for lighting a street lamp part 51 when the calculated distance is below a set value.</p> |
