PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information for performing reliable guidance to a destination even in the case of entering a narrow street to enable a user to reliably travel. SOLUTION: During route guidance to the destination on a screen of a display on the basis of road data for route search, reference is made to map data to determine whether one's own motor vehicle has entered the narrow street or not (S4). When it is determined that the motor vehicle has entered the narrow street, a search for a route from a point of the entrance as a starting location to the destination is performed again (S6), and the screen of the display is divided into two screens. On the basis of the results of the second search and the road data on the narrow street, a guidance route is displayed on one screen, and the narrow street is displayed on the other screen in a display mode enlarged more than that of the one screen (S7). |
