<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous loading of the second tape cartridge being non- interchangeable with the first tape cartridge on the first recording and reproducing device developed for the first tape cartridge used as a standard. SOLUTION: By setting the height position H3 of a notched end 33a of a lock member 28 locking an open/close door 118 of the second tape cartridge C2 higher than the height position H2 of a door lock releasing section 142 inside the first recording and reproducing device D1, the base end section 118a of the open/close door 118 is made to be abutted on an abutment surface 143a of a door opening section 143 in the state door lock is not released and further insertion of the tape cartridge C2 is prevented.</p> |
