PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new and efficient system for monitoring an event related with the target application of an application unit, and for transmitting acquired data to a remote destination concerned. SOLUTION: This monitor device including elements such as an event logger 840, a data format processor 850, and a protocol processor 860 collects information related with the using situation of a target application 514 through an interface 810, and transmits the information to a prescribed destination or preserves the information in a local disk in a requested data format and a requested communication protocol. A system resource 870 is shared by the respective elements of the monitor device.
