MOBILE TERMINAL AND INCOMING CALL NOTICE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and an incoming call notice method that can quickly inform a user about the arrival of an incoming call during absence. SOLUTION: At the arrival of an incoming or of new electronic mail, a CPU 3 reads data of a ringing time and a ringing interval optionally set in advance by a user from a RAM 4 to control a sound source 6 to generate a sound signal at the ringing time and the ringing interval set to the RAM 4. A speaker 8 sounds a ringer tone at the ringing interval for a ringing time set to the RAM 4. Thus, the mobile terminal can inform the user about the arrival of an incoming call or newly arrived mail. The ringer tone is repetitively sounded until the display of the incoming call during the absence is deleted from a display device 2 so as to surely inform the user about the arrival of an incoming call or new electronic mail during absence.
