PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a make-up cosmetic which can change the texture of a make-up finish with one kind of the cosmetic, namely give a dual make-up finish. SOLUTION: This manicure cosmetic for a nail color cosmetic is characterized by containing one or more materials selected from silica, nylon powder and mica. The total content of one or more materials selected from silica, nylon powder and mica is preferably 1 to 5 wt.%, more preferably 1 to 3 wt.%, based on the manicure cosmetic. A pearl pigment or organic colorant is preferably contained except the powdery materials. The viscosity of the manicure cosmetic is preferably controlled to 50 to 200 mPa.sec. When left stand and then used, the manicure cosmetic exhibits a lustrous finish, and when impregnated and immediately used, the manicure cosmetic exhibits a mat finish.
