AUTOMATIC BAG OPENING SEGMENT SEALING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bag opening segment sealing apparatus for carrying out a series of steps automatically in which a backing sheet covering an adhesive layer is peeled off, an opening flap is bent and adhered to an adhesive layer to seal it when a bag having a structure for sealing the opening segment is sealed while being adhered to the adhesive layer bent in a strip form in a breadthwise direction at an opposing wall surface where the bent opening flap overlaps it. SOLUTION: A feature of this invention consists in an arrangement in which a bag 10 having contents filled in it is moved forward by a moving means 31 over a moving path while its opening segment 12 is turned upward; a backing sheet removing apparatus 36 is installed at a backing sheet removing position in the moving path; at a forward side of it is installed an opening flap bending means 38 for bending an opening flap 22 after removal of a backing sheet 24 from the surface of an adhesive layer 23 of the bag 10 and overlapping it on the adhesive layer; and further at the forward side is installed a pressurizing means 42 for press adhering the bent opening flap 22 against the adhesive layer.
