<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of the shield of a connector, to reduce man-hours of assembling, to enhance moldability and productivity, and to reduce a production cost. SOLUTION: This connector is equipped with a receptacle connector and a plug connector. The plug connector is equipped with a housing into which the receptacle connector is inserted and a plurality of pin terminals arranged in the housing. The receptacle connector is equipped with a plurality of contacts having contact pieces with the pin terminals and housings holding the contacts. A plurality of longitudinal shield plates each of which is formed between the pin terminals are installed in the plug connector. A plurality of lateral shield plates are installed in the receptacle connectors in a crossing state to the longitudinal shield plates. Slits for advancing the longitudinal shield plates are installed in the housing of the receptacle connector and the lateral shield plates.</p> |
