PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having a new molecular skeleton exhibiting proteasome inhibitory activity. SOLUTION: The Tyropeptin A represented by the formula (I) and the Tyropeptin B represented by the formula (II) are obtained as new proteasome inhibitors by cultivating Kitasatospora sp. MK993-dF2 strain (FERM-18233). The Tyropeptin A and the Tyropeptin B have proteasome inhibitory activity and are useful compounds as antitumor agents. |
