PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dipole antenna which can effectively restrain the influences of objects located behind the antenna, even when it is installed on a ceiling or on a wall, and effectively radiate power over a wide range in the forward direction of the antenna. SOLUTION: A reflector 1 is formed into a conical form, and a rod-like conductor 2 as an antenna body is disposed at the top side, so as to view the pantoscopic side of this reflector 1. Thus, power radiating from the conductor 2 to a rearward direction of the antenna is reflected to a wave angle direction and a horizontal angle direction by the reflector 1, thereby effectively radiating over a wide range in the forward direction of the antenna.
