PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which monitor a service connection to a computerized remote device. SOLUTION: In this method, a connection which is possibly inadequate is detected by monitoring service connections to various computerized devices (4 or 10) (e.g. medical image pickup system) positioned at remote positions by an on-line engineer at center service facilities (2) and a recommended action for preventing the inadequate connection from being made again is determined. Further, monthly measurement standards are generated. Preferably, the measurement standards include a measurement standard of 'connection % to inadequate systems' and the number of the reasons why inadequate connections are reported.
