PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a DC-DC converter which maintains low on-resistance, even if an input voltage fluctuates greatly, and supplies an optimum drive voltage so that the sufficient effect of reducing loss in a rectification circuit is achieved. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter is provided with a first switching element which turns on and off a direct-current power supply; second and third switching elements connected in series with each other and connected with the secondary winding of a transformer; and a drive means which operates the switching elements so that the third switching element is kept in conduction while a current passes through the first switching element, and the second switching element is kept in conduction while the current is not passing through the first switching element. The output of winding for the drive power supply of the transformer is rectified and smoothed, to obtain a constant voltage, which is supplied to the drive means.
