PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a dielectric resonator device, a filter, a duplexer, and communications equipment using the device, filter, and duplexer to have superior temperature characteristics, even when different kinds of modes are multiplexed. SOLUTION: A dielectric core 3 is constituted of dielectric core portions 31, 32, and 33, and a dielectric material used for forming the core 3 is selected, so that the temperature coefficient of the core portion 32 to which TEz-mode electric fields are concentrated become positive, and the temperature coefficients of the other core portions 31 and 32 becomes negative. In this way, the temperature characteristics of the dielectric resonator device, filter, duplexer, and communications equipment are compensated with respect to TMx+y, TMx-y, and TEz modes.
