PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supplying packaging material to a packaging machine. SOLUTION: A manufacturing machine and the packaging machine, especially for manufacturing cigarettes and supplying them to lines 10 and 11 for packaging them, have one intermediate store 12 for storing pallets 20 having a reel 18 made of the packaging material, accurately web-like material. The plurality of pallets 20 having the packaging material are supplied to the intermediate store 12 through a pallet conveyer 28. A separate reel conveyer 48 moves the reels 18 to individual sub-assemblies of the machines and the lines 10 and 11 in response to a request.
