A bicycle (5) fleet management system has storage units (4) with computer controlled release of bicycles activated by a badge reader (6) and transfer of user data from a user carried memory to a bicycle mounted memory and recording of bicycle location through memory in the store. An Independent claim for a bicycle and storage using the management system is included.
