PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video/audio processor and a method for configuring video/audio processing software that can efficiently utilize a computer depending on usage. SOLUTION: A software program applying processing to a video/audio signal is created with divisions of a video (audio) input section software program 11.2 (input), a processing software program 12.2 (processing), an output software program 13.2 (output), and a GUI Code 15 (control) and a proper software program is loaded to each section (11, 12, 13, 15, 16) and executed depending on contents of the processing. The processing is assigned to each computer (video/audio processor), a program is downloaded from a processing software management database 22 as required and an application is properly built up in a broadcast station.
