PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window device easy to use with sufficient locking function, watertightness, airtightness and shielding property in a closed state while enhancing an open feeling indoors, the amount of ventilation and a view in a fully opened state. SOLUTION: A plurality of run rails 3, 3 are laid on the outdoor side of an exterior wall 1 along an upper edge part and a lower edge part of an opening 2 of the exterior wall 1. The end parts of the run rails 3 are extended to form a storage rail 4 in a chain. It is constituted to freely change over into a state of closing the opening 2 by pulling out a light transmissive sliding door 7 to close the opening part 2 and allowing the end part of an adjacent light transmissive sliding door 7 to meet, and into a state of opening the opening 2 by moving each light transmissive sliding door 7 to the storage rail 4 for storage. The sliding door 7 closest onto the outdoor side in the closed state abuts on a door stop frame 20 on the opposite side to the storage rail 4, and the sliding door 7 closest onto the indoor side is positioned closest onto the storage rail 4 side. The sliding door 7 closest onto the indoor side is constituted to be movable onto the door stop frame 20 side.
