PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent illicit unlocking operation, cylinder lock destruction or the illicit pull-out of a lock handle by providing a handle lock cover not showing a lock handle and a keyhole to the outside when not using a handle lock. SOLUTION: This handle lock cover is provided with a base plate 3 fixed to a door surface plate, disposing a lock case 17 inside a mounting hole at the center part and having an engaging hole at one end and an erected insertion piece 27 extended to the plate face of the door surface plate, at the other end; a cover plate 5 having an engaging piece 39 engaged with the engaging hole of the base plate 3, at one end, and an insertion hole 41 bored at the other end to insert the erected insertion piece 27 of the base plate 3 and mounted parallel to the surface of the lock case 17 to cover a lock handle 19 and a keyhole 21a; and a locking means 7 such as a pad lock engagedly fitted to the erected insertion piece 27 to prevent the erected insertion piece 27 from being pulled out of the insertion hole 41.
