PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body housing long articles which is capable of preventing foreign matters from being mixed therein by packaging the long articles such as chopsticks in a substantially sealed condition, excellent in sanitary condition, and disposable in an integrated manner with the packaging body without producing any scarps when unsealed, and to provide a manufacturing device thereof. SOLUTION: The packaging body 1 houses the long articles, and at least one side of the packaging body 1 formed of a sheet-like sheet 11. Discontinuous perforations or a plurality of notches 12 are formed straight on the sheet 11 at the position agreed with one end of the long articles or at the position in the vicinity thereof so as to be substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The sheet 11 is a biaxially oriented film, and perforation or notches 12 are formed in this biaxially oriented film. The long articles are, at least, a pair of chopsticks A, the chopsticks A are sealed by two sheets 11 formed of the biaxially oriented film, and perforation or notches 12 are formed in one sheet 11.
