PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte allowing the constitution of a battery with excellent energy density and cycle performance and in particular with excellent storage characteristics, and to provide a nonaqueous battery. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte is made by dissolving an electrolytic salt in a nonaqueous solvent, wherein the electrolyte contains HBF4 not less than 30 ppm and not more than 1,000 ppm and LiBF4 is used as the electrolytic salt. |
