PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an inexpensive photoelectric conversion element using a dye expressed by the general formula (1) and having excellent conversion efficiency, and a solar battery. (In the formula, Ar1 and Ar2 express an aroma ring or a heterocyclic ring, each of which may have a substitute. X, Y, Z express an hydrogen atom or a substitute). SOLUTION: This solar battery uses the photoelectric conversion element formed of a thin film of an organic dye sensitized semiconductor corpuscle, and the thin film is made to carry the dye expressed by the general formula (1). |
