PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method like a mailing list in which construction of huge data base is not required to respond to all information providing requests to be predicted, all members can provide topics and no topic is distributed to such a user having no interest in the topic, and to provide a server and a program for enabling the method. SOLUTION: User information as positional information to indicate living areas such as addresses, knowledge information such as taste information of all users and address information of the users are previously stored in the server, when the server receives information providing request information from a portable terminal of a certain user, extracts the user having the knowledge information and the positional information in relation to the information providing request information among all pieces of the previously stored user information, distributes the information providing request information of the certain user to the address of the extracted user and transfers reply information to the distributed information providing request information to the portable terminal of the certain user. |
