PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document sorting device capable of utilizing relative degrees such as the affirmation/negation of the contents of a document, high/low and large/small and the degree of opposite meanings of words for document sorting though the sorting can not be performed only by the extraction/weighing of word notation. SOLUTION: The document sorting device for expressing respective documents to be sorted into categories by words and phrases, retrieving a document concerned from the documents to be stored by using a certain word/phrase as a retrieving key and sorting the document based on the retrieved result is provided with a retrieving key extraction part 5 for extracting a word to be a retrieving key from a document group to be sorted, a similarity calculation part 6 for evaluating a word before or after the word to be the retrieving key and a combined word of the word to be the retrieving key and the word before or after the word concerned and reflecting the evaluation result for the calculation of similarity of documents to finds out the similarity of the documents and a document group generation part 7 for sorting the documents by using the similarity. |
