PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which enables a user to take beautiful pictures by exactly controlling a stroboscope in spite of inexpensive and simple constitution. SOLUTION: This camera has an IRED 3 which projects range-finding light to an object within an image plane, a PSD 4 which receives the reflected signal light of the range-finding light of the object and separates this light to the light signal by the stationary light and the light signal by the range-finding light, a photometric sensor 21 which meters the inside of the image screen, a stroboscope 17 which emits flash to the object and a CPU 10 which controls the light emitted by the stroboscope 17 in accordance with the stationary light signal and the output of the photometric sensor 21. |
