PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the stable address extraction at the time of recording operation. SOLUTION: The disk drive device is arranged so that the deterioration process is carried out for reflected light information signals (11, 12) corresponding to the period when the laser output is made to the recording power having the comparatively high level in the process of the recording operation, that is the period when a data pit is being formed on the disk, meanwhile the deterioration process is not carried out for the reflected light information signal corresponding to the period when the laser output is made to the reproduction power having comparatively low level in the process of the recording operation, that is the period when the data pit is not formed on the disk.
