PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle for high lift work 1 comprises jacks 7 mounted on both left and right sides of a vehicle body 3 to support the vehicle body 3, and a counterweight 11 mounted on a revolving base 9 and disposed on a revolving base rear portion opposite to a derricking region of a boom 13. Each jack 7, when retracted, positions an outer end of a grounding plate 8 inside the side 3a of the vehicle body 3, and when deployed or extended slantingly outward and downward from the vehicle body 3 until the grounding plate 8 is grounded, positions the outer end outside the side 3a of the vehicle body 3 to support the vehicle body 3. When the revolving base 9 is revolved as the jacks 7 support the vehicle body 3, a rear end of the counterweight 11 is moved inside the outer end of the grounded grounding plate 8 of the jack 7 and outside the side 3a of the vehicle body 3.
