PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing action type motor which is capable of simplifying its structure by eliminating a supporting mechanism which is separate from a motor part, and has high rigidity for a device as a whole and high radiation. SOLUTION: A partially cylindrical rotor yoke 11 of which the part is divided along the axial direction is concentric with the outer periphery of the partial cylinder of the rotor yoke 11, and a frame 17 is disposed so as to face the rotor yoke with a prescribed interval taken in between. A permanent magnet 12 is disposed at one side of the rotor yoke 11 and the frame 17, and a formed coil 14 and a layer core 13 are disposed on the outer side; the formed coil 14 is a concentratedly wound coil of straight-angle wire and formed into an R shape; and the coil is layered a plurality of times so as to be bonded onto the layer core, and formed by molding with resin.
