The invention relates to a quality factor self-adaptive device for an antenna that transmits and receives electromagnetic signals. The invention comprises a soft ferrite device (6) that contributes to form of a load (7), with which the antenna is provided and which is external to the antenna (1). The inventive device can be used in devices for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic signals, such as those in nuclear magnetic resonance or nuclear quadrupole resonance systems.
