<Object>To provide a printer capable of efficiently applying a predetermined process, such as cutting process and folding process, to a printed sheet. <Construction>When a sheet feeding/processing control part judges that when a sheet feed request of feeding a sheet by a sheet feed amount Sreq is present, an actual cutting position (▾position) passes a cutter, it divides the requested sheet feed amount Sreq into first and second sheet feed amounts SA and SB (FIG. 6A). To start, a sheet 5 is fed by the first sheet feed amount SA, so that an actual cutting position (?position) just reaches the cutter 16. In a state that the sheet 5 stops, a cutter motor is driven to operate the cutter 16 and to cut the sheet 5 at the cutting position (FIG. 6B). After the sheet 5 is cut, a sheet feed motor is driven to feed the sheet 5 by the second sheet feed amount SB (FIG. 6C). Also in feeding the sheet by the second sheet feed amount SB, a similar process is executed.
