The system has a reformer, a fuel cell and a water recovery device (13) with an absorption refrigeration machine (14). The absorption refrigeration machine works in conjunction with a condensation cooler (15) while heat is fed into the absorption refrigeration machine. The condensation cooler is a heat exchanger for exhaust gas cooling connected on the output side to a water separator (16).
