The two separate sets (30,50) of blinds are mounted one above the other whereby the slats move up and down on support belts (23) which wind up on spools (22) which are each connected to the control clutch wheels (61) of at least one blind set (30). The spools and/or the clutch wheels are driven direct. At least the control clutch wheels of the individual blind sets are arranged one behind the other in the gear drive. The clutch wheels of one set is coupled to the following clutch wheels of the adjoining set through rotationally rigid single-stage clutches (65, 45) which can move over a rotary angle so that the free rotary angle of one single clutch stage is less than one complete revolution. The support belt spools and control clutch wheels can be mounted coaxial on a shaft (21).
