METHOD FOR PRODUCING PREFORMED BODY OF SWASH PLATE OF COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a preformed body for a swash plate of a compressor comprising metal matrix composites, by which it is possible to produce a swash plate having improved abrasion properties and lubrication properties. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of mixing a short fiber of ceramic and tin powders in a predetermined ratio, followed by stirring to form a mixture; supplying the mixture of a predetermined amount to a mold; spraying a mixture of an organic binder of silica and water; pressurizing the mixture at the top of the mold using a piston while applying suction force at the bottom of the mold using a vacuum pump to remove water from the mixture; separating the product from the mold, followed by drying to form a preformed body.
