RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH SCRIPT FILE AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A recording medium recorded with a script file and a device and a method for reproducing the same are provided to simply search and check detailed information of script files related to motion picture data by additionally recording script files and link data files corresponding to the motion picture data. CONSTITUTION: A device for reproducing a recording medium recorded with a script file includes a reading unit(11) for reading data from the recording medium secured in the device and having the first area for recording motion picture data and a second area for recording detailed information related to the motion picture data in a script file format, a storing unit(14) for storing script files recorded in a predetermined recording area of the recording medium and link data between motion picture data related to the script files, and a control unit(13) for controlling the reproducing of a predetermined script file related to currently reproducing motion picture data on the basis of file name of the script file recorded corresponding to the related motion picture data.
