<p>Upon establishment of a call, a screen (26) of a mobile station (10) automatically enters into a writing-surface mode (210). A user of the mobile station (10) is able to write on the screen (26) in the writing-surface mode during the call without having to navigate a menu or other navigation system. The user can cause the screen (26) to enter the writing-surface mode (210) by activating a button (28) or the like and can also press a switch button (30) or the like in order to use the screen (26) in writing-surface mode (210) in either a shared or a non-shared mode. In the shared mode , notes written on the screen (26) while in writing-surface mode (210) can be wirelessly transmitted to another mobile station involved in the call. While in the non-shared mode, notes written while in writing-surface mode (210) are not wirelessly transmitted.</p> |
