The device has a long distribution body (410) with a central longitudinal gap (430) to generate esp. a flat gas flow. A flat divider part (420) divides the gap into two longitudinal chambers (415,415'). A gas intake (440,440') opens into each chamber near their opposite ends, so that the chambers contain opposite gas flows. The gas intakes are formed for connection to a blower to generate gas flow, gas bottles, and/or compressed air lines. Distribution body and/or divider element are of sheet metal.
