An apparatus for generating O2 and removing CO2 includes a photosynthesis microorganism nd a cultural medium for the microorganism, a container for receiving the photosynthesis microorganism and the cultural medium, the container being designed to trasmit light and provided with an exhaust hole for exhausting O2 generated by the photosynthesis reaction or the microorganism during which CO2 is absorbed, and a filter for filtering the photosynthesis microorganism and the cultural medium and allowing O2 to pass.
