摘要 Removal device comprises a tubular heating chamber (2) with a head part (16) through which a carrier gas inlet (32) and carrier gas outlet (34) are guided; and a feed unit for introducing a sample container into the heating chamber and coupled to the carrier gas inlet and outlet. The feed unit has a lifting arrangement (42) and the head part has an annular support surface (18) arranged coaxially to the longitudinal axis (L) of the heating chamber. The support surface surrounds the carrier gas inlet and outlet and is formed in such a way that it is suitable for forming a gas-tight connection with the sealing surface of a sample container (22) lifting against the head part. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the quantitative determination of volatile components of a material sample using the above device. Preferred Features: The carrier gas inlet is formed on its end as a tube (36) with a bulge (68) close to the end. The lifting arrangement has a sample table which moves coaxially to the heating chamber. The carrier gas outlet is guided into a measuring cell for Karl-Fischer titration.
