The coupler profile (1) has a center wall part (100) joined to legs (103,104) angled at their ends ( alpha ) and is fitted to a bearer profile (10) in part where carrying a possibly cork or felt absorption layer (11). The coupler profile (10) is adjustable in width and also adjusted to the leg end to suit the location. The profile is also made up of two equal or dissimilar part lengths. The bearer profile (10) is also in two parts each of L shape, and the profile parts forming the center wall (100) are joined where they overlap, either by double sided adhesive tape or by screws.
