A body panel,i.e.a side outer panel,is split into a body front side part(10),a body rear side part(11),and a side sill part(12),as required.Local dies corresponding to these split repair parts are manufactured and the split repair parts are produced using the local dies.The local die is manufactured only when the die cost is lower than the loss material cost when the split repair parts are produced by cutting the body panel directly. |
