A registration device for adjusting the distortion and color misregistration on the display screen of a display, comprising RAMs (13, 15) where recorded is deflection correction data used for correcting the scanning position of a video signal for each of the adjustment points arranged in the horizontal and vertical directions on the display screen and an interpolation calculation block (18) for determining the number of interpolation scanning lines which are the number of scanning lines produced between adjustment points according to the input video signal and generating a current signal applied to the deflection yoke by calculating the interpolation for the correction waveform corresponding to the position of the display screen derived from the correction data for each adjustment point depending on the number of interpolating scanning lines.
