<p>A system for issuing an IC card quickly by making it possible to install an application additionally in an issued card. The IC card is typically a card of credit company. In response to an offer from a client, a center unit (20) transmits issue information based on the results from a credit examination section (21) and issues a card in which no application is installed. Subsequently, an additional application is transmitted, as required, in response to a download request from the client. Typically, it includes services provided from other tied up companies, e.g. banking, home security or identification, which enhances usefulness of the card and promotes utilization thereof including credit transaction.</p> |
