The invention concerns a multimedia communication device comprising at least two interconnected servers (501-532, 601-632), each server being connected to at least an agent station (160, 190) and at least one server being connected to a telecommunication network (130), each agent station being equipped with an Internet browser interface, each server: comprising an automatic module for distributing calls to and from each agent station whereto it is connected; comprising a module for distributing calls to and from every other server whereto it is connected; maintaining a database comprising a state table representing occupancy of each agent station connected to each server and disconnection between servers or between a server and an agent station, each server being adapted to update each state table based on the activity of each agent station connected or not to said server, such that all the state tables are aligned in real time; and communicating with each other server in accordance with an IP protocol, in particular for voice transmission, and each agent station communicating with the server whereto it is connected in accordance with the IP protocol, in particular for voice transmission.
